The Journey of All-New WowOptin: From Limitations to Excellence!
From the very beginning, our goal was simple:
Make it super easy and effective for anyone to create beautiful popups, banners, floating bars, and inline/embed forms.
At first, we thought using a block-based system like WordPress’s Gutenberg was the right move. It made sense at the time.
The Turning Point: Realizing We Could Do Better
As we developed and tested it, we quickly realized that the block system, while functional, didn’t fully align with our goal. It felt complex and took too much time.
And worst of all, it didn’t align with one of our core promises: simplicity!
We set out to make WowOptin the simplest, fastest, and most powerful optin builder out there – solving problems even the big players couldn’t fix.
That’s when we knew: we could do better!
The Tough Decision: Pausing the Launch and Starting Over
This is where the journey truly began. We are about to launch our brand new plugin WowOptin. We had everything seemingly in place. But we realized we had to stop and rethink everything.
Deep down, we knew: our current setup couldn’t deliver the vision we had. So instead of pushing forward, we paused and rebuilt WowOptin from zero – the right way.
Rebuilding meant another 4 to 6 months of work and a significant financial investment. It was a risk, but we were determined to get it right, no matter what it took.
A Bold Vision: The Canva-Style Editor That Will Change the Game
After extensive research and testing, we decided to switch to a Canva-style editing experience. We were confident that our new approach would fix many of the pain points we faced and the ones common across the entire industry.
It was designed to let users create popups quickly, easily, and with the same freedom you’d expect from tools like Canva. It also gave us the speed we’d always dreamed of.
For us, it wasn’t optional – it was essential. So we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.
Overcoming Challenges: The Development Difficulties
Starting from zero to build the new editor wasn’t a small task for us, but it was worth it.
Our developers had to throw out the old code and start fresh. At the same time, our UX designers went back to square one to build a brand-new interface that actually feels easy and enjoyable to use.
And let’s not forget our content team – they had to rethink everything from scratch to help our community understand what’s new and why it matters.
One of the painful part was throwing away all our pre-made templates because they were built for the old block-based editor. It was frustrating, no doubt.
But we knew we’d redesign even better templates once the new editor was ready. And yeah, our determination kept us going.
The Power of Teamwork: Build Something Extraordinary
It wasn’t something we could accomplish alone. It was a team effort with every department working together to make it happen.
Our CEO, Mr. Jakir Hasan, and CTO, Mr. Anik Biswas, led the charge backed by an incredible team of developers, UX designers, marketers, and support heroes.
We were all-in and committed to give our absolute best. And that’s when the magic started.

Was it risky for us? No question. Did we doubt ourselves at times? Absolutely. But deep down, we always believed we could bring it to life.
